Reconnect with nature in a whole new way
Reconnect with nature in a whole new way

We’re honoured to be hosting Dr Saskia von Diest at Tomtit Farm for a very special weekend workshop exploring Nature communication. This is a rare opportunity to learn from someone bringing this work to Aotearoa for the first time, and spaces are limited.

Dr Saskia von Diest is the founder of Ecofluency, an award-winning organisation focused on education and consulting in Nature communication. With over 15 years of international teaching experience, research in intuitive farming, and work across ecology, agriculture and wellbeing, she helps people reconnect with the deeper relationship humans have always had with the natural world.

Her journey began during her PhD in Plant Pathology, where she became fascinated by how farmers use intuitive awareness of land, plants and animals in real-world decision making. Since then she’s worked across South Africa, the UK and internationally, researching subtle agroecology and developing practical ways people can reconnect with nature, land and themselves.

This workshop is about experiencing that connection for yourself. Expect thoughtful discussion, practical exercises, time outdoors on the farm, and a supportive environment

to explore something many people feel but rarely get the chance to learn about. People often leave with a renewed sense of clarity, belonging and inspiration.
